DAY 1 - Katon-Karagay

We meet and get acquainted with the group and the guide in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Then drive 350 km through Osinovskiy pass and the city of Altay. In the evening we stop for dinner and overnight in the village of Katon.

DAY 2 - The Burkhat pass & alpine lake

On the pass we enjoy the panorama of the valley at the observation deck at an altitude of 2100 meters. Then we hike to the mountain lake (5 km one way). Later we drive along the Old Austrian road to Lake Markakol and guest houses.

DAY 3 - Markakol Lake & the Martian landscapes of Kiin-Kerish

We will enjoy the panorama of the alpine Lake Markakol. Then drive through the Marble Pass to the border with China and further to the Martian landscapes of Kiin-Kerish. We will cross the Bukhtarma reservoir through the ferry crossing & return to Ust-Kamenogorsk through Kaindinskiy forest, Umysh pass and Targyn pass.
