DAY 1 - Berel - Yazevoe lake

We meet and get acquainted with the group and the guide in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Then we drive 450 km through Osinovsky Pass and the city of Altay. In the evening we stop for dinner and overnight at Yazevoe Lake.

DAY 2 - Horse riding to the base camp

We travel by horses, enjoying the magnificent scenery around us. Then we get to the base camp near Kokkol waterfall.

Base camp with a view of Belukha Mountain

It is a camp with double tents for accommodation, a kitchen, a bathhouse, and a common tent-dining room for eating and resting. From here, the group makes all one-day radial treks (i.e., hikes to scheduled destination).

DAY 3 - Equilibrium Lake and Kokkol waterfall

Radial acclimatization hike to the mountain lake of Equilibrium. If you wish, you can take a dip in crystal-clear water, pass through the seven-turn labyrinth, and rest on an alpine slope with a view of Belukha.

DAY 4 - Roerich Stone

We will cross the mountain river, swim in the Warm Lake, and climb the observation deck. The Roerich's Stone is also known as the Praying Stone or Kyndyk Tas. This place is considered energetically powerful and is revered by the followers of Nicholas Roerich's teachings. It is on this rock that the great artist painted a number of his unique paintings. Belukha looks like on the palm from here. Here one makes wishes and leaves coins as an offering to the White Goddess of the mountains.

DAY 5 - Upper camp of abandoned mine

An atmospheric journey through spectacular scenery. Tungsten and molybdenum were mined here in the upper camp from 1937 to 1954. Scattered throughout the camp are what were once living barracks. Thanks to the cold climate, all the buildings are well preserved and resemble an open-air museum.
DAY 6 - Fairy Lake
We walk through flowering fields with a view of the peaks of Faith, Hope and Love.
DAY 7 - Horse riding to Yazevoye Lake
On the way back, we once again enjoy the forest trails, the curves of White Berel river, the tastes, colors, and air of this amazing region.
DAY 8 - Coming back
We take with us all the accumulated impressions, a lot of bright unique pictures and video!

Useful tips
WE ARE READY TO ADVISE YOU IN DETAIL
IN CHOOSING CLOTHES AND SHOES AND ANSWER ANY ORGANIZATIONAL QUESTIONS
  • Remember that there is no cell phone and internet in the mountains, warn your loved ones about this in advance. There is satellite communication in the base camp, but only
    for emergencies.
  • It should be noted that the weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, the sun is quickly replaced by rain, cold by warmth and vice versa. Take the most practical and comfortable clothes and shoes, and the more warm things, the better.
  • No special riding skills are required, all horses are trained and set off under the supervision of a guide, but you should listen carefully to safety procedures and follow the rules that you will be told on the route.
